Well, things seem to be a little better after last week's apparent plagiarism drama. We've thought about the visual adaptation of some parts of my idea, and we should hopefully move onto storyboarding something soon. Thing is, my idea may well necessarily involve filming at night, which could be tricky. Any suggestions, anyone? Besides "film it in the daytime", I mean.

Filming at night is problematic but can be overcome. Using the 'nightshot' option on some of the cameras will give a green hue to the image. Shooting in low light will invariably give a grainy effect as the camera struggles to pick up the light. 'Big spotlightey things' are also an option but you must source them. If you do you can play arounfd with filters too (cellophane). Testing shots before recording real footage is also essential to get an idea of how things will look once imported. Glad you've agreed on a story!

I wonder whether you could try having them go up to a bedroom, instead of them standing in the hallway, which would help to emphasise their aparent amorousness and you could film Toms face when he stabs her to show his reaction. This means it will be more of a shock when he pulls the knife outta her. Or he could just smash her go and proper with a machete, you idea so you can just ignore this if you don't like it. Please note if I this is a bit like someone elses work and I havn't realised and then just made this suggestion, go stuff yourself I don't care.

Yeah, we're starting the opening in the room now, with the guy looking out a window, then a close up on the girl picking up/mixing drinks. I could go on...
