When Tom stabs the young lady, he could bury his head in her shoulder and then slowly look up at the camera, or just upwards, with a rather proud look upon his face, or a creepy smile, just a thought.
I'm trying to work out how the bus scene would work, would be complicated. I can't think of a way around it, and is it nesaccary, is it a important part of the plot??
Just some thoughts for you.

We could have him doing that but it is a bit used, maybe he could be looking sad or crying but can our "actor" do that
Yeah Jon if your really determined to use a bus then can't we at least just stick at a bus stop, it will be easier to film and won't mean we've got to sort out buses etc...
You're right, the bus thing isn't exactly necessary- it'd work just as well at, say, the bus station in Bury. If we can keep people from waving at the camera...
If anyone waves at the camera we will tell them that we're doing a film about a explosion of toxic gas in the area and then one of us could pretend to go into a fit, sure people will be scarred for life but they shouldn't wave at cameras.
